Ron Clabo

Ron is the founder and President of GiftOasis. He enjoys the process of making things whether ceramic, wood work, metal work, software or business organizations. He is passionate about small businesses including makers, designers, and artisans. Ron is an Internet savvy entrepreneur who enjoys high growth environments and he has extensive experiences in e-commerce, direct marketing and software development. He is working to build a sustainability orientated company that positively impacts communities. Through GiftOasis LLC, Ron performs business, marketing and software development consulting for clients and hopes to one day open an online marketplace that makes it easy to find and purchase products made by small businesses in North Carolina. Ron is as comfortable developing software as he is marketing products and analyzing business models. He is typically ranked as one of the top 5% of software developers on Stack Overflow. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and earned a MBA in General Management & sustainability from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
